Shariq Ali Zaidi

Mr. Shariq Ali Zaidi is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner with over 30 years of experience. Until June 2021, he was a Partner at EY, where he headed the forensic department, served as the EY Country Head for Afghanistan, and was a member of the EY Pakistan Executive Board. He now works as a Senior Advisor at RSM Avais Hyder Liaquat Nauman. His extensive expertise includes leading statutory, project, and internal audits; financial investigations; regulatory compliance assessments; due diligence; and dispute resolution for national and multinational organizations across government, public, and private sectors. Additionally, he has enhanced his skills through professional development seminars and conferences by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, covering topics such as external audits, ISA and IFRS updates, and regulatory requirements. He has also served on the ICAP Auditing Standards Committee and the Accounting Standards Committee for several years.
