As a result of continued business expansion, RMA Group seeks to appoint an experienced, pro-active, and professional Chief Financial Officer for its diversified business operations in Afghanistan.

Key Position Description

The CFO will head the Finance team based in Kabul, Afghanistan and provide financial leadership and direction to RMA Group subsidiaries in Afghanistan. The CFO will report directly to and work closely with RMA Bangkok based Group CFO. In addition, he will report indirectly to the Country Manager and partner with the senior leadership of RMA Afghanistan to develop and implement strategies across the organization. The CFO will oversee all aspects of the accounting and finance functions as well as IT & Business Systems. The CFO will ensure the company is operating within corporate rules and compliant with all aspects of tax, and reporting legislation.

Key Requirements

Education: CA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent qualification.

Skills: The position requires an international perspective and the ability to work effectively across boundaries and cultures, strong leadership skills, excellent presentational and negotiation skills, and actively manage the performance of Finance team members

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a management position with Finance, 5 years of which must be in a similar capacity.

• Responsible for the quality of the financial reporting.
• Prepare weekly & monthly Cash Flow forecast.
• Supporting operational & functional teams in their day to day activities by providing all necessary analysis and reports to enhance the control and streamline work processes.
• Direct and participate in management studies, like cost and sales analysis, comparison with budget, forecast etc.
• Management of Fixed Assets and Inventory.
• Recommend procedures to mitigate the risks pertaining to the company's activities.
• Plan and coordinate financial audit with external auditors
