Yasir is a financial services leader with global experience spanning in Pakistan, Ireland and Luxembourg. Always looking for new experiences, Yasir has recently moved to Pakistan as Chief Internal Auditor for FINCA Impact Finance Pakistan. He previously held the same role at one of the largest and oldest global banks, Bank of New York Mellon, in Ireland where he was responsible for audit activities of local, regional and some global business activities. Yasir’s experience of over 17 years extends to audit, governance, risk, control and finance domains. He has also attended executive leadership programs at American Chamber of Commerce in Ireland and Irish Management Institute. He is also a Certified Director from LUMS. Yasir took initiative of volunteering for FINCA flood relief grant disbursement of USD 184,000 to several flood-affected people in Pakistan. Recently, he has transformed bank’s branch auditing in a very innovative way that has never been done n Pakistan’s banking industry.
