Mr. Enrique Blanco Armas
Lead Country Economist World Bank, Pakistan
Enrique Blanco Armas is World Bank’s Lead Country Economist for Pakistan specializing in macroeconomic and fiscal policy. He joined the World Bank in 2005 and has worked in Eastern Europe and more recently in East Asia, where he spent six years working in Indonesia. He has led several lending and analytical tasks over these years. Prior to joining the World Bank, he worked as an ODI Fellow for the Government of Mozambique, working on trade and economic policy issues. He holds a Masters in Development Economics from the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom.
