Mr. Hussain possesses more than 20 years’ progressive career in areas of auditing, financial management and information technology. Presently, he is working as team lead on the World Bank funded Program (PforR) regarding design, implementation and operationalization of Audit Management Information System in the Department of the Auditor General of Pakistan. He is also currently heading the Information Systems Audits Department and have directly led and supervised various IS audits.

• He served in Supreme Audit Institution, UAE from 2016 to 2017 where I led various IS audit assignments and conducted training courses for capacity building of SAI, UAE staff.
• He also worked in PIFRA, a World Bank funded project, on implementation of SAP in Punjab from 2006 to 2009. Contributed as a member of core team of the Auditor General of Pakistan, re-engineered business processes for organizational restructuring. Being a declared Master Trainer by DAGP, conducted various trainings in Audit Command Language (ACL) software, Information System Auditing, and SAP R/3ERP solution. He contributed various research papers and studies relating to information systems auditing and public financial management. Besides, he have represented Pakistan in meetings of the INTOSAI Working Group on IT Auditing at Qatar, China and South Africa.
