Dr. Omair Haroon, FCA is associated with Suleman Dawood School of Business of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) as an Assistant Professor. He is coordinator for Accounting and Finance Programme at LUMS. Dr. Omair obtained his PhD in Accounting from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong in 2015. Dr Omair qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2005 from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. Dr. Omair teaches courses in accounting, financial reporting, finance, governance and management accounting at undergraduate and graduate programmes. He has also been actively involved in designing and conducting trainings for executives at the Rausing Executive Development Center of LUMS. These trainings include Public Sector Financial Management, Advanced Corporate Finance, Project Budgeting and Financial Management for NGOs. His research interests include Capital Market Research in Accounting, Corporate Governance and Financial Economics.
