WAQAR A. KHAN

Mr. Waqar A. Khan is an accomplished Senior Executive, Advisor, Panel Speaker, and Board Member with more than 30 years of success across the information technology services, accounting, and finance industries. His broad areas of expertise include enterprise risk management, business continuity, internal audits, and cybersecurity. He was a Partner in EY Ford Rhodes till June 2019.
In 2019, Waqar founded and leads as the Chief Executive Officer of TRACS (Pvt) Ltd. where he provides technology consulting comprising IT strategies, BCP/DRP, solution and vendor selections, cybersecurity, and more.
Waqar has also served as the Partner and Head of IT Risk, Assurance, and Advisory for EY where he headed a team of 35 people involved in IT Audits, Cyber Security services, Solution and vendor selections, Due Diligence in cases of mergers and acquisitions in the IT space,  IT effectiveness services including third party evaluation of IT departments and projects.
Prior to his role at EY, Waqar additionally led as the Senior Manager - Andersen and the Deputy Manager of Systems and Account for International Industries Ltd a listed company in Pakistan. For his exceptional leadership, he has received recognitions from clients including one where he oversaw the selection of a solution and implementer as well as QA of implementation of SAP done by IBM. 
Waqar obtained his Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Saint Paul English High School as well as a Chartered Accountant with certifications from ISACA viz in CISA, CISM, CGEIT, and CRISC. He is currently on the board of ISACA and GL Group.
