This category is designed to support deserving students who demonstrate strong academic potential but require financial assistance to pursue the Chartered Accountancy qualification. It complements and strengthens the existing financial support programs offered by Registered Accounting Education Tutors (RAETs), helping to ease the financial burden on academically bright and deserving students and enabling them to progress in the CA profession without obstacles.

RAETs may recommend students who meet the following conditions:

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicable to students attending tuitions at RAETs in:
  • Pre-requisite Competencies;
  • Certificate in Accounting and Finance;
  • Hands-on Courses up to CAF level; and
• Have at least 80% or equivalent marks in HSSC or equivalent examinations
• Have a total family income < PKR 100,000 per month
• Have approved by RAET for 75% or more discount in Tuition Fee
• Are not availing any other ICAP scholarship
• Are recommended to ICAP by the respective RAET

Benefits Offered:

• Minimum 75% tuition fee discount through RAET up to CAF level including hands on courses, once per subject.
• Registration Fee: Rs. 2,000 (remaining fee deferred to CFAP stage in 3 instalments)
• PRC & CAF Examination/Exemption Fee: Rs. 1,000 once per subject

Notes:

1. Students shall be entitled to avail only such registration / examination and exemption fees that are yet to be paid to ICAP and no retrospective reimbursement shall be allowed.
2. Deferred registration fee will be payable in three equal instalments along with examination fee at each sitting of the CFAP exam, starting from the first-time appearance at the CFAP exam.

Recommendation Process by the RAETs:

RAETs shall submit student recommendations through the designated SFS RAETs Portal, along with all required supporting documents.

Recommendation approval by ICAP:

Applications received by the last date of each month will be processed and approved by ICAP by the 10th of the following month. RAETs will be informed of the approved applications in line with the stipulated criteria for onward confirmation to their students.
