Embracing Healthier Lifestyle & Avoiding Risk of Breast Cancer
October 20, 2021 | 4:00pm to 5:00pm
For ICAP women members, students & staff and women family members of our male fraternity
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), breast cancer is the second most common cancer in the world and the most common cancer in women worldwide, accounting for 25% of all incident cases of female cancers. Despite the advances in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, this condition is still the leading cause of death for women. October is celebrated as a National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, where people from all over the world recognize the seriousness of this condition and show their support for patients affected by breast cancer.
In line with WHO’s guidance for providing public health education about the signs and symptoms of breast cancer in order to improve awareness among women, CA Women Committee of ICAP is organizing a session on “Embracing Healthier Lifestyle & Avoiding Risk of Breast Cancer” on Wednesday 20th October 2021 from 4:00pm to 5:00pm (PST). The event is exclusively designed for ICAP women members, students & staff and women family members of our male fraternity. Session will be held under hybrid model through Karachi and Lahore offices.
A team of experts has been invited with an ambition to educate our women on ‘breast cancer symptoms, treatments and consequences’ as well as discussions will be held on ‘women general health issues, concerns and ways of keeping a healthy work-life balance’. We are optimistic that these sessions will significantly benefit the audience.
