International Benchmarking by ECCTIS (formerly UK NARIC)

BREAKING NEW GROUND GLOBALLY!

CA Pakistan Cements Its Standing on the Global Map

We are proud to announce a landmark achievement for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).
For the very first time, ICAP’s flagship qualifications; the Certificate in Accounting and Finance (CAF) and the Chartered Accountant (CA) designation; have been independently benchmarked by ECCTIS (formerly UK NARIC), the UK’s national agency renowned for benchmarking international qualifications and skills. This rigorous evaluation has resulted in the CAF being benchmarked at Level 5 and the CA qualification at Level 7 under both the UK Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and the UAE National Qualifications Framework (QFEmirates).

This international benchmarking, conducted in line with ICAP’s prevailing Education Scheme (2021), is valid for five years and substantiates the academic depth, professional rigor, and international relevance of ICAP’s qualifications. Members and students under ICAP’s prevailing Education Scheme (2021) may refer to the following link for obtaining documentation and guidance related to ECCTIS benchmarking and Statement of Comparability:

Members, not under the prevailing Education Scheme (2021) and wishing to obtain individual documentation or a Statement of Comparability, must apply directly to ECCTIS (UK ENIC) to obtain their Statement of Comparability. With this, ICAP strengthens its standing on the international stage; a proud moment for the profession, our members, and every aspirant looking to make their mark in the world of accountancy.
