In line with the mission to promote equitable access to CA profession, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) has partnered with Ihsan Trust (IT) to introduce an Interest-Free Loan Facility for CA students. An MoU has been signed on July 2, 2025, marking the formal launch of this initiative.
This facility is aimed at academically talented yet financially deserving students, empowering them to pursue their Chartered Accountancy qualification without financial hindrance. The initiative reflects ICAP’s commitment to removing economic barriers and ensuring that merit and dedication are the defining factors in achieving success in the profession.
Eligibility Criteria
Students may apply for the Interest-Free Loan if they meet the following conditions:
1. Are enrolled with ICAP and studying at any of the following levels, meeting the corresponding academic criteria:
PRC Level
- Minimum 75% marks in HSSC or equivalent qualification; or
- Minimum 65% marks in graduation; or
- Minimum two B’s in A Level
CAF Level
- For 1st attempt of CAF level: Overall a maximum of one failure in PRC level shall be acceptable.
- After 1st attempt of CAF level: All papers passed in 1st attempt or overall, a maximum of one failure in CAF level shall be acceptable.
CFAP/MSA Level (During Training Only)
- For 1st attempt of CFAP level: Overall a maximum of two failures in CAF level shall be acceptable
- After 1st attempt of CFAP level: All papers passed in 1st attempt or overall, a maximum of one failure in CFAP/MSA level shall be acceptable
2. Are financially deserving, as assessed and approved by Ihsan Trust.
3. Are not availing any other scholarship or financial assistance from ICAP.
Extent of Support
Eligible students may receive loan up to 70% of ICAP dues, subject to assessment and approval by Ihsan Trust.

Eligible students may apply by submitting the duly filled application form along with all required supporting documents.

Note: Incomplete Forms or Forms without supporting documents shall not be considered and may be rejected without notification.
Application Processing
Applications received by the 15th of every month will be forwarded to Ihsan Trust for processing, evaluation, and disbursement.
Successful applicants will initially receive funding for one year, with continued support subject to satisfactory academic performance.
Repayment Terms
Loan repayment will begin from the month following disbursement, based on easy monthly installments mutually agreed upon between the student and Ihsan Trust.
Important Notes
- The approved amount will be automatically adjusted at the time of submitting the relevant form(s) by the student.
- Support is available once for each subject; repeat attempts will not be facilitated.
- Students are encouraged to plan their coursework on a six-monthly basis to manage funding and academic progress effectively.
